Tiger

I finally brought Tiger to my apartment.

He fought as hard to stay in the box when we got here as he did to get in at my folks house.

Once I got him out of the box I gave him some food and showed him where his litterbox was going to be. I gave him a mini tour of the apartment.

He is now laying under the bed. I can see his eyes gleaming at me. I hope he remembers where the litterbox is when he needs to go. I really don't want to clean up any messes.

Hopefully he will come up on top of the bed when I go to bed.

One more day to go of helping the folks pack.

I officially moved into my new apartment this weekend.

I haven't moved Tiger yet, probably this coming weekend.

I find it hard to believe how much stuff I have. I also find it hard to believe how much stuff I still need. I currently move my lamp from room to room as I need it. Only the living room & kitchen have light fixtures (bathroom too of course).

It will be an interesting experience living on my own.

I took mom to see Prince Caspian on saturday evening. It was part of Bethy's Mother's day present to our mom.

Mom & dad both seemed to enjoy the movie.

I am looking forward to seeing the next one.

Hopefully I will get to see the new Indiana Jones movie this weekend.

Tiger caught a mouse today.

Doctor Who

I just finished watching the 6th episode of the 4th season of the New Doctor Who.
The episode is entitled "The Doctor's Daughter"
I loved it.

Also, I saw Iron Man during it's opening weekend. It was great fun. I was surprised that more people didn't stay to see the bit after the end credits.

I took Tiger to the animal hospital this morning.

He has a blocked urinary tract. They are going to catheterize him, do a bunch of tests and keep him at least overnight.

I miss him.

Today is my 39th B-day.

I celebrated by sleeping until 7:15 am (aided by Nyquil), having breakfast then going back to bed until it was time to get ready for church.

After church I picked up a sub for lunch. After eating the sub I took a nap.

When I woke up from my nap it was about 4:30. I did some puttering online, read some websites and downloaded a podcast.

Dinner was a boneless breast of chicken, mixed vegetable & white rice.

What an exciting life I lead.

Your Score: Mystic Theurge

29% Combativeness, 13% Sneakiness, 94% Intellect, 61% Spirituality

Brilliant and spiritual! You are a Mystic Theurge!
Score! You have a prestige class. A prestige class can only be taken after youve fulfilled certain requirements. This may mean that youre an exceptionally talented person, but it probably doesn't.
The Mystic Theurge is a combination of a cleric and a mage. They can cast both arcane and divine spells, and are good at both, making them pretty terrifying on the battlefield. They have more raw spellpower than just about any other class.
You're both intelligent and faithful, but not violent or deceitful. I guess that makes you a pretty good person.

Once again we had no Trick or Treaters this Halloween. I think it is the 5th or 6th year in a row no one has shown up.

Did anyone show up at your house? If so, how many?

Luke Skywalker

You scored 87% wisdom, 23% aggression, 46% power, and 89% morality!

Last of the Jedi, you carry heavy burdens and have great potential. Your fighting prowess has only progressed so far, having started your training later in life, but you can hold your own regardless. You have great wisdom and insight beyond your years and experience, and your moral code could not be any stronger. You find the paths no one else can see, and save the galaxy because of it.

Rupert Giles

63% amorality, 36% passion, 90% spirituality, 63% selflessness

Utterly calm and resolute in the face of danger, utterly devoted to his loved ones and comrades in arms, and utterly willing to do what is necessary to ensure that good overcomes evil. Giles knows the score, he knows that sometimes virtue relies on good men getting a little messy, and he's willing to take that on himself, largely so that others don't have to.

You might share some of that.

You most closely resemble one of the most popular heroes in the Buffy universe.

Congratulations!

Yesterday afternoon my cat, Tiger, came to the door with something in his mouth. We couldn't see what it was at first and thought it might be a chipmunk. Eventually he dropped it and it turned out to be a red squirrel. Freshly dead.

Beth thinks he might have been bringing a contribution for the dinner table. At least he didn't bring it into the house alive this time.

I took it out back and buried it alongside the rabbits and other things he has brought home. Not fun.

Computer Savant

34 % Nerd, 69% Geek, 65% Dork

For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Geek and Dork, earning you the title of: Computer Savant.

People confuse you with a Nerd all of the time. You aren't some genius, like some people have said, and didn't/don't really like school all that much (and you especially hated some of the social aspects, like getting mocked). It's just that you have some passions and interests that you're extremely into/good at, and this has placed you in circles with other social outcasts, some of whom are exceptionally bright.

The awesome thing about being where you are is that you get to hang out with an elite group (though you'd probably rather be alone, or with only the closest friends and family) and you can make quite a good career for yourself in your particular specialities. Common to this group are people who are highly into electronics/computers as that is where the money lies, today.

Congratulations!
